What it's like living in the area

Mallory Wesleyan Church is located in a small rural community in Oswego County New York, just three miles north of Central Square. On the north shore of Oneida Lake, our community enjoys bountiful outdoor recreational activities as well as quick access to State Route 81, a major state highway connecting the state from Canada to Pennsylvania. Our central location affords an easy commute north to Watertown, south to Syracuse, or west to Oswego with access to nearby shopping centers and a nice country drive to many interesting regions including Tug Hill, Adirondack Mountains, the Finger Lakes and Mohawk Valley.

Central Square Central School District, a good school district centered in Oswego County, New York consists of 4 elementary schools, middle school, and high school. The 2023/2024 school year served 3,573 students.

Nearby are Little Lamb Christian Pre-School & Kindergarten, several Christian elementary schools as well as Christian Brothers Academy, which offers education for grades 7-12.

Population in Central Square and surrounding towns is approximately 15,000.
